Another gray day in the cold white north. I’m going to pull my fleecy blanket over my head and go back to sleep.
That probably won’t actually happen. Though most of us probably love to entertain that option on Sundays in winter, there’s usually too much to do. For example, clean the bathroom. Walk the dog. Walk me. Do some yoga.
Or I could read – “Plot and Structure” still haunts me daily. I moved it from the bookshelf to the bedside table, and I took it home with me over the holidays. I haven’t read it yet, but I’ve had physical contact – does that count?
Or there’s always football. It’s a Sunday in January, which means Seattle will be losing yet another game. Not an appealing or even entertaining option.
I’m going with the fleecy blanket and a movie. But that means I have to hook up the DVD player. Rats.
PS – Silly me – I can watch movies on my laptop. No “DVD player hooking up with the cords I can’t find”!

Ha ha! Your book reading procrastination issues sound a lot like my relationship with my current book club selection! Good luck with that!
