About Her Highness

Jenn first became famous blogging under the Jenn And The City moniker over at blogspot.com.  When she became far too cool for an ordinary blog, she acquired her own domain at flywithmedesigns.com and moved the blog here.  Coincident to the blog relocation, Jenn’s health became adversely affected by the pressures of big city corporate life, fused with a nauseous kaleidoscope of Haworth beige and Steelcase gray.  She was forced to retreat to a small cottage on Jupiter’s second moon in the Middle of Nowhere to begin seriously the life of author and jewelry artiste.

Prior to her withdrawal from corporate life, an executive asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up.  Being a girl of ambition and conviction, and having been unduly influenced by Stephen Hawking, Douglas Adams, George Lucas, and Jimmy Buffett as a child, she promptly answered “Intergalactic Princess“.  Immediately thereafter she found herself demoted to the IT department.  Upon leaving corporate life she aspired to actually become an Intergalactic Princess. Jenn quickly learned two things:

1.  Like most jobs, the title imparts much more importance than the actual day-to-day tasks and;

2.  She should have stuck around in IT, because she can’t manage the technical part of the blog at all.

But stay tuned; we’re gonna lift off in 3. 2……well, sh*t.  Okay, who didn’t refuel the silly rocketship?  Geez, ya want something done, you gotta do it yourself…
